Ferrari 308 something, late 1980s vintage. I've always had a special spot in my heart for Ferraris (or maybe it's a soft spot in my head...) Oh, sure, some of it was from Miami Vice, because, really, what was cooler than Don Johnson in the Daytona or the Testarossa? Some it, almost certainly, was the Italian influence. Maybe some of it was from Magnum, P.I. or even Cannonball Run? I mean, good enough for Dean Martin, right?
Obviously Magnum lives in my 'hood...

I hear the NRA range had a bunch of .22, not sure if any is still left though.
I was crushed when I learned the "Daytona" in Miami Vice was fake and was really a 'Vetted underneath.

Going off of what Old NFO said - When I bought my GTI, I brought it to work & showed it off. Guy I worked with had a Ferrari like that and was mentioning how my GTI would run laps around his car.
What was considered "ooh" & "ahh" back in the 80's is now "Low End" on sedans.
That's a 308GTS, S denotes Spyder with the removal top in Ferrari nomenclature while B is for the hard top Berlinetta.
Not too great on acceleration because it's geared for a 160mph top speed. To be fair it made 80hp per liter at a time when a Z28 made less than 40hp/liter (215hp from a 5.7liter/350cid V8).

Just realized something. It has the third brake light which wasn't mandatory until 1986. The last year for the 308 was '85 so this is probably a 328GTS, they look very similar.
