Tally Ho!

The Big Guy sends in another DGC addition:

Home invasion suspect shot and killed in triple shooting
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A home invasion suspect was shot and killed by a resident of the home he was trying to rob.

The shooting happened in the early morning of February 17. Police say that Laterance Sellers, 24, attempted to break into a home in the 2000 block of Palafox Street and rob the occupants.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. One of the occupational hazards one endures when one's business card reads: "Goblin" is that folks might take umbrage to having their homes burglarized. Part of that umbrage might mean taking incoming fire. Of course, it's even worse when you're shot with your own gun:
One of the occupants of the home overpowered Sellers and managed to get the gun away from him and eventually shot Sellers with his own gun.
Yeah, don't rely on a gun for self-defense because the bad guy will just take it away from you and use it against you. Besides, if you don't have a gun, just take the goblin's...

Dead Goblin Count: 132

That is all.

I don't ever hear stories about a good guy losing his gun and getting shot by a goblin, yet that is often the rationale I hear for people who don't want to carry a gun with them. Does that ever even happen?
