Is my favorite day of the year: Buy A Gun Day.
I haven't decided what I'm going to get this year. Heck, I don't even have any idea what I want to get - oh, sure, there's a good dozen or so guns that I would like to have that could be the BAG Day purchase, but nothing so far really jumps out at me. Now, there's a gun show in two weeks, and I might just pack up the Gun Fund, hit the show, and see what calls out to me. Which means I may come home with a truck full of jerky...
What's on everyone's BAG Day list this year?
That is all.

I already picked up mine, a Henry 22 lever action.
Mine is sitting at the store, waiting for approval for me to pick it up. And I'm not saying what it is 'till I get it. :P
Due to the Time Frame involved (and I finally had the Cash), I jumped into my Time Machine and bought mine, then brought it back. But I'll reveal it on Bag Day.
Oh, and while I was cruising the Time Line, I peeked ahead. Congratulations President Romney!
(Screams from New England vibrating throughout the Republic commencing in 3,2,1....)
Another Mosin, Another Maverick 88,
A pistol caliber carbine or lever action,
Those are just a few of my favorite things (on the list)
Will probably go with an upgraded pistol for pocket carry.
Dangit! You stole my blog fodder 3 weeks early!
F&N 5 Seven 1100 locally.
Blog fodder nothing. I'm trying to get ideas of what to buy...
I'm at the point where I recognize that I need to have *fewer* guns, not more, because I need to work on shooting the guns I have better.
The last gun I bought for myself was my S&W Bodyguard 380, which was last year's BAG Day gun.
This year, I am completely stumped.
I'm somewhere between buying a new muzzleloader and a .22 revolver. Really starting to lean towards the revolver. But the daughter really needs that muzzleloader. Decisions, decisions.
I have a GSG 1911 in 22lr on order and am hoping that it will get in on time that I can cool my heels for the required 10 days, and pick it up on BAG day.

I'm hoping mine will be a Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle or an SR1911, but only because those are the prizes in Ruger's Million Gun Challenge contest that I entered.
If I actually have to buy a gun it'll probably be a Mauser or something else suitably old. (I know a guy who has a Persian Mauser, and it's neat seeing the markings in Pharsi.)
I'm not sure yet, but as I haven't bought a blaster that wasn't a face to face deal in about 5 years, most of my recent purchases are merely "available."
As there aren't any "fun" shows coming up that I know of, and since I actually need another safe as opposed to another blaster.
I'd like another single barrel shotgun if I can find a decent budget one, or a bolt action .22 rifle.
I haven't given enough money to the goobermint to get serious BAG money back yet, but I suggest going a little sideways this year. Instead of getting another used .22 get a good AIR rifle (listens to the howls of derision). These aren't Red Ryders I'm talking about. I have used a bone-stock Benjamin Discovery to plink empty 20 gauge hulls at 60 yards, hitting nearly all of them on the first shot.If you get a precharged pneumatic (PCP) airgun like the Discovery you can hunt pests and nuisance birds at ranges formerly reserved to a .22 with CB Longs. If the trigger pull is bad, you can usually fix that yourself with these guns too.
My gun fund went for a Hi-Power to commemorate 1st Anniversary of TJIC's martyrdom.
BAG Day will be limited to a holster for the HP.
my bag day came a bit early this year, and i picked up not one not two but count them three new boom sticks, and on top of that theres a fun show this weekend within driving distance so im lookin to see if i can pick up another mosin carbine or an m1 carbine
I was going to say nothing, but then I remembered how just last week I was thinking very hard about getting a Henry AR-7 Survival Rifle. Now I have the perfect excuse!
well in the past couple of months I have gotten a used S&W model 10 and a brand new Ruger 10/22
I just picked up a Walther P22 last night (after a 10 day wait... thank you, CA...) and I was eyeing the Rock Island Armory 1911. Just have to convince the wife I need another pistol. However, she wants a new 12 guage, so we'll see...
Jay, my birthday is at the end of this month... you need fewer guns... see where this is going? ;-)
I'm looking long and hard at either a Glock 20SF, because high cap 10mm is always good, or a .32ACP pocket rocket for when I can't carry anything else.
I'll be buying dental work. FML.
Boberg Arms XR9-S on backorder from the manufacturer. Mine will be made any month (or six) now. Yes, Dragon Leatherworks does make Chimaera and Wyvern holsters for them, even though the Dragon Web site mistakenly refers to them as the "Boberg SR-9".

On the lookout for a Lightweight Commander in .38 Super.
Still looking.
I'm getting a single-stack 1911 in .45ACP - probably a Remington R1.
Yes, I know, guns are banned in Australia - it ain't true, but don't tell anyone.
Sig P938. (Have to put money down and wait for Sig to catch up with demand)
